If there is a book by that title, I’m not the author of it. Clearly, I’ve fallen down on the job! Truth is, our life is so utterly FULL right now. Any spare energy remaining at the end of the day is focused on keeping some semblance of order amidst the construction and mess. Messtruction. My new made-up word, since you can’t have one without the other. I have had a little time here and there to work on one of the girl’s bedrooms. I hope to have a post up by the end of the week. Bear with me and stay tuned!

I feel the same way. We are up to our eyeballs planning a fundraiser for the charity we formed in our daughter's honor, and I feel like I am completely spent at the end of each day. I am way behind on blogging. Love seeing your updates, though. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the girl's room. We miss you! Go easy on yourself. Remember you have a lifetime to complete this house. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so with you on this. I have had such a hard time this summer with finding the time to blog. I can't wait to see how your projects are shaping up, though! I bet everything is fabulous! ;o)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels swamped!! We do what we can, right? Looking forward to seeing your pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand!!!
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, have you read the proper care and feeding of marriage? I am totally not a Dr. Laura fan but I loved the book!
Of course, I can't wait. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about finding blog time this summer and I don't even have messtruction going on. We will be here when you are.
ReplyDeleteI love your word. Messtruction! You may add cleanorate-cleaning and decorating at the same time. And obsessorize-making sure your shades, purse, flip-flops match, including match the car. Daughter and I made these up
ReplyDeleteSo excited to see what's coming! Messtruction should make it into the dictionary- I've always referred to anything resembling home construction as de-struction because of the lousy mess it makes, even in the rooms that aren't involved. Glad you're moving along with the house, I'll be waiting with bated breath to see the outcome...
ReplyDeleteGood for you--you have a LIFE!!! I'll keep checking in to hear all your wonderful news and ideas. In the meantime, stay in the present. Allegra
ReplyDeleteI totally AM a Dr. Laura fan, and love her books with that title re: husbands and marriage and being wise.
