I just love when others post about their favorite things, so I’ve decided to start up a section dedicated to my own favorites. It’s the little things in life…
First up is my newest find. Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm. I spotted it for the first time at my local Target store just a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it.
Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in “Peony” used to be my go-to, apply-it-20-times-a-day-lip-stuff, but no longer. It’s been replaced with this new balm in “Hibiscus”. The color is perfect for me…just like my natural lip color… but a little more pigmented. The application is smooth, soft and lovely with no fake sparkles. If you’re a “natural” kind of girl, I know you’ll like it too.
It runs around $7 and worth every penny. Remember I’m fair and blond, so “Hibiscus” might not work for you. But there are lots of other delightful colors to suit your fancy. Click here to see the selection.

I have used Burt's Bee products for years but never tired the lip balm. the only problem I have with balms is that they don't stay on my lips very long...and when I am working I need something that will last a few hours. Wondering if this one has staying power? Hugs-Diana
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about Burt's Bees, but have never tried it. I'm a chap stic girl, will definately look for it next trip to Target; I think I will like the tinted colors.

I love all Burt's Bees products and I will have to try this. You should try his lemon cuticle conditioner, it makes your nails look shiny and healthy!

I love their products as well. I like to use the other lip balm. The skinnier ones that have different shades.
ReplyDeleteI almost purchased this the other day, but after checking the list of ingredients I realized that my peony lip shimmer actually had less chemical components in it. So I passed it up.
ReplyDeleteI JUST bought some of this today at my local Meijer's, Rie! I'm trying Tiger Lily (I think that was the color). It's a soft peachy color and I just love it! ♥ Thanks for sharing the scoop! :)

I'm so glad that Burt's Bees is making tinted lip balms! I always reach for a chapstick instead of a lip gloss & never have any color on my lips...this will be perfect for me!!

i love, love, love burt's bees' products! i buy that same lip stain/balm for my 14 years old. it's subtle and age appropriate for her (really for anyone).

I bought this too for the first time about a week ago and really like it--so much lighter than lipstick and perfect for everyday. Burt's Bees has great products!
